Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah and Joel Madden have kissed and made up after a twitter spat.

In a barrage of tweets, AJ blew up at the Good Charlotte frontman, and now judge on The Voice, questioning whether he and his band really cared about their fans.

Maddah tweeted: "Do you remember looking at your fans clutching your shirt and albums at Perth Airport and saying 'what the f*** do these people want from us' + 'wish they'd just f*** off?'

"Do you remember making fun of a 12/13-year-old girl that was crying because she met you and (sic) telling fat jokes about her.

"I don't hate you. That'd be a waste of my energy. I despair that you have so much disdain for fans to who you owe your career.

"Your lifestyle is financed by gullible fans who love you.''

Madden said he reached out to AJ to iron things out, tweeting: "I called AJ and we spoke. He's been upset for 10 years and I'm glad we talked about it and squashed it b/c I respect him and Soundwave.''

Maddah returned the favour: "Just spoke to Joel Madden for the first time in 10 years. We've cleared the air.''

Soundwave 2013 kicks off February 23 in Brisbane before making it's way around the country. Headlining the event alongside Metallica are Linkin Park, Blink-182, The Offspring, Slayer and more. It's all getting very exciting!
