The M2 Is Stuffed Because Of Bus Fire

A bus has erupted in flames on a busy Sydney motorway.

UPDATE: Two of the three citybound lanes on the M2 have reopened at Beecroft after a bus fire near Beecroft Road.

Traffic in the area remains heavy with motorists queued about eight kilometres from the incident scene.

Motorists are advised to consider exiting at Pennant Hills Road or allow plenty of extra travel time.

Buses continue to be delayed up to 30 minutes.

A bus has erupted in flames on a busy Sydney motorway.

Firefighters are working to extinguish the Beecroft blaze, with all passengers safely off the bus.

The M2 is closed to citybound traffic at Beecroft and drivers have been warned to brace for heavy delays.
