Truck Fire On M1

Motorists travelling southbound between the Central Coast and Sydney on the M1 Pacific Motorway are being advised to DELAY travel due to a serious truck fire near Jolls Bridge.

The truck fire has been exstingished, however the truck continues to block all southbound lanes.

Motorists are being diverted off the M1 Pacific Motorway both at Mt White. Traffic is currently queued around 8km approaching the diversion point.

Motorists using the Pacfic Highway also continue to experience lengthy delays due to heavy traffic congestion.

Northbound lanes on the M1 Pacific Motorway remain open.

  • Anyone travelling between the Central Coast and Sydney should consider catching a train on the Central Coast and Newcastle Line as a time saving messure.

Emergency services from all agencies remain on site and are working to clear the truck and reopen lanes.
