Roy and HG Drive You Home On Triple M In 2009
For the first time, Roy and HG will be joining the Triple M Network as the new Monday and Friday Drive shift hosts.
Roy and HG will kick off the weekend on Triple M from 4pm-7pm on Friday afternoon and will recap the weekend at the same time on Mondays from January 12.
Roy Slaven and HG Nelson are famous for their hilarious TV work with shows Club Buggery, The Monday Dump and The Dream with Roy and HG from the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Austereo's Group Content Director Guy Dobson says Roy and HG will be a great addition to the Triple M line up and will offer something unique in the drive shift.
"Roy and HG are Aussie icons and we've been trying to get them on board at Triple M for years. Finally, over a slap up Chinese lunch they agreed!
"Drive has become increasingly competitive and it is important for Triple M to stand out from the rest next year so we've created a line up that is different to everything else.
"The details of our Tuesday to Thursday Drive shift and the completed Triple M line up will be announced in coming days. Triple M is set for a great year."
