Ben Fankhauser from Geelong asks:
"I like BT having the tag "COOL BREEZEE"!!!! Does he really hate it? Great work guys, I reckon you were a better player then Dermi, and Buddy doesn't even come close to the great Full Forward that booted 17 goals. Do you think footy was tougher in your day? Did you have to earn your kicks more? By the way Friday night Rub Rocks!!!!"
Ben,
BT acts as though he hates the "cool breeze" moniker but I suspect that deep down he loves it! Footy today is just as tough as it was 20 years ago. Perhaps it is less dangerous due to the behind the ball incidents being cleaned up but the players today are incredible in the way they attack the ball (eg Selwood/Rance).
I think it is tougher and easier for forwards in the current day: there are less options /tactics at a defender's disposal because of rule changes but the style of play can make life tough at times.
Cheers mate,
Chief.

Adam Haase from Essendon asks:
"I have a two-part question for you big Chieftain. Who do u reckon has the biggest amount of head wobbling and a largest amount of piccione so far in 2009? Also do you know the music that is played before the news updates?"
Adam,
Not sure I'm in a position to answer the head wobbler without consulting the rest of the Triple M Footy guys. I might get them to answer that on the Rub. The second part of your question is actually a bit easier.
Originally scored by Mike Batt as a song called Tarot Suite and then turned into a guitar anthem for Triple M by Deiter Klemens called Dr.Dan's Theme. It's recent reworking into the news theme was performed by former members of Aussie band Machine Gun Fellatio.
Cheers,
Chief

Tony Marshall from Melbourne asks:
"Do you think Melbourne will win more than 4 games this year and lose the priority pick? They don't seem that far off a win, the game plan looks ok, skills will improve this year. How do you see them?"
Tony,
I think Melbourne will certainly give the 'four wins' barrier a scare this year. They are starting to become much more competitive week after week and have run some good sides right to the wire (Geelong and WB). Don't mind the way they play but the biggest issue continues to be foot skills and decision-making re use of the football.
Cheers,
Chief.

Is Simon Taylor the dumbest numbskull in the AFL ? Stupid free kicks and ridiculous reports and suspensions. His impact and games is minimal and has no football brain.
