Carlton Getting Ahead Of Themselves Posted by Jason Dunstall 26 June, 2009 - 2:37 PM

Answers From The Chief

Sarah from Boronia asks:

Hi Chief,

I see where Fev has written a kids book. Your co commentator Garry Lyon has previously done the same with Specky Magee. Have you ever thought about writing a book aimed at young footy fans?

Sarah,

Not sure I'm on the same wavelength necessarily as kids...or most people for that matter so haven't thought about children's books. Garry's have been very successful so it will be interesting to see if Fev can emulate that success.

Cheers
Chief.

Jeff from West End asks:

Chief,

Are Carlton getting ahead of themselves talking about footy finals? There's still a long way to go, do you think they'll still be up there come September?

Jeff,

I don't think Carlton are getting ahead of themselves at all. It's been a long time for the Blues but now they are in a position to put some realistic expectations upon themselves. One of those expectations should certainly be making the top 8 and I think they probably will this season.

Cheers
Chief.

Suzie from Mount Clear asks:

Hey Jase,

Who do you think will win the Brownlow and do you believe that Damien Hardwick will be coaching North Melbourne next season?

Suzi,

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Geelong boy in Ablett or Selwood win the medal but don't be surprised either if the strongest opposition comes from a proven vote-getter and past winner in Chris Judd. Damien Hardwick is a great prospect and I believe he will get one of the vacant jobs. Whether that is North Melb or not remains to be seen.

Cheers
Chief.
