5 Father-Son Selections Officially Nominated For This Year’s Draft

AFL today received five nominations as potential father/son selections at next month's 2016 draft.

Collingwood has nominated both Callum Brown and Josh Daicos as potential father-son recruits.

The sons of club legends Gavin Brown and Peter Daicos, the pair are now likely to follow in their fathers’ footsteps.

The national draft will be held on November 25.

The AFL has also received 29 academy nominations, with Greater Western Sydney (nine players), Gold Coast (nine), Sydney (six) and Brisbane (five) all submitting nominations.

Father-Son Nominations:

Adelaide – B.Jarman (son of Darren)

Collingwood – C.Brown (son of Gavin), J.Daicos (son of Peter)

Geelong - S.Simpson (son of Sean)

West Coast - J.Waterman (son of Chris)
