Geelong Sack One From Senior List

Geelong have announced that Michael Luxford will no longer be on the senior list in 2017.

Luxford joined the club at the end of 2013 as a rookie, before being upgraded to the senior list in 2015.

He finishes his career having played two senior games for the Cats.

Geelong’s general manager of football Steve Hocking thanked the player for his services.

“Michael is an impressive sporting talent who worked diligently on his game to transition from basketball to football. He was popular amongst his teammates and we wish him all the best in his future sporting endeavours.”
