Matthew Lloyd And Kane Cornes Name Who The Gold Coast Should Be Targeting
Rumours coming in on Day 2
After some explosive revelations on Day 1 of the trade period, rumours are starting to pick up as we head into the second.
Speaking on the AFL.com.au Trade Radio, Kane Cornes and Matthew Lloyd were discussing the situation between Hawthorn and the Gold Coast.
Rising Star winner Jaegar O'Meara officially nominated the Hawks as his club of choice, and the Suns have reportedly been offered a list of "6 to 8 players" to choose from.
It is Cornes' opinon that for the Gold Coast's number one target should be wingman Isaac Smith.
Lloyd, on the other hand, believes Hawthorn should have pulled the trigger by offering up Luke Breust in order to get the deal done.
The Suns are also sweating on young midfielder Dion Prestia who has requested to move back home to Victoria.
Prestia officially nominated Richmond as his club of choice.
