Sydney Youngsters Sign New Deals
Sydney has tied two of its youngsters to the club until the end of the 2018 season.
Defenders Harry Marsh and Jordan Foote have both capped off promising seasons by signing multi-year deals to stay with the club.
Marsh, 22, was delisted this time last year, but was rewarded for his improvement with seven games this season, including Sydney's first three finals.
Foote played just the one match, against Carlton in round 18, but the 20-year-old was named in the NEAFL team of the year.
Sydney head of football Tom Harley said the two youngsters have been rewarded for their efforts.
"Harry's return to the primary list is a great reminder to all young players of the value of resilience and hard work. It was great to see Harry debut this year and he provides us with a steady hand in defence," Harley said.
"Jordan's improvement in 2016 has been fantastic – he elevated his NEAFL game to a new level and proved that he is ready to tackle senior AFL football."
The two will be promoted off the rookie list, alongside Tom Papley and Nic Newman.
