The new West Coast guernsey for 2017 has officially been revealed overnight - a throwback to the gold design of the 1990's.

The Eagles described the jumper on their online store as follows:

The West Coast Eagles will complete “The Wings Collection” when next season the traditional gold guernsey replaces the white clash jumper. The gold guernsey has not been worn as part of the official West Coast Eagles uniform since 1994, but the wings set has now been re-united, with all three of the club’s jumpers featuring the traditional design.

The gold guernsey has been worn in the heritage round and to commemorate historical anniversaries in recent years, but it will now be worn if our royal blue away strip clashes with the opposition colours. The re-introduction of the gold guernsey comes 12 months after the navy version replaced the tri-panel jumper that had previously been worn for home games from 2007.
