Fremantle defender Michael Johnson has been charged after a kebab shop patron was allegedly assaulted last week.
The assault against a 23-year-old Bunbury teacher is alleged to have happened in Leederville in the early hours of November 13 after the victim filmed the Dockers veteran with his pants down around his ankles.
Police confirmed on Friday they had charged a 32-year-old Canning Vale man with assault occasioning bodily harm and he is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on January 18.
It continues an eventful post-season for the Dockers with Johnson’s teammate Shane Yarran also charged with assault last week.
Yarran’s charge relates to an incident involving a family member.

Yarran has a checkered past. The mature-aged recruit spent six years in jail for burglary before being released in March 2013.
