Please make this happen. There are unconfirmed reports that Bruce Springsteen will play this year's AFL Grand Final.
"Bruce Springsteen at the AFL Grand Final," Triple M music reporter Nui Te Koha told Melbourne's Triple M's Hot Breakfast. "The word is promoter Michael Gudinski has got Bruce Springsteen wrapped up."
You'd think the AFL would be keen to make good and pull out the big guns after last year's guest Meatloaf didn't quite fire.
The Hot Breakfast's Eddie McGuire added the AFL would make changes to their Grand Final entertainment format. "You can take it to the bank that instead of pre-match it will be a halftime show and the stage where it's been in the stand is gone as well. That will come back out into the middle."
The new Bruce Springsteen album, Wrecking Ball is out March 9 and there were internet rumours last year that he'd be here at the end of this year, so fingers-crossed it's all coming together.
How pumped are you to see Bruce Springsteen come to Australia?
