After winning his fourth Bathurst 1000 crown, Jamie Whincup spoke to Triple M's Grill Team about his future.

Whincup joins the likes of legends Allan Moffat and Greg Murphy as a four-time winner of the great race.

Reflecting on his win, Whincup said "to stand on the top step of the podium after such a huge even is just a real feeling."

It was arguably the best finishes...the closest ever between a Holden and a Ford.

So, after such a high, what is next for the 29 year old?

Jamie said (in terms of the future) "I've committed here to Australia for the next couple of years, but hopefully all things go well and I can explore a bit...a lot of my mates have done some crazy overseas stuff, so I'd like to at least dip my toe in the water with that."
