No. That’s not the famed generic Simpsons teenager you can hear, that is harness race caller Jimmy Jacques locked in a fierce battle with his own pipes in Adelaide!
And unfortunately for Jimmy, his voice was producing the kind of raspy tones that are usually associated with chain-smokers by the end of the race.
While he didn’t manage to clearly announce the name of the winning horse, sources tell Triple M that he did score a three-year sponsorship with Strepsils.
Good going Jimmy!
