Triple M NRL's resident news breaker The Mole has some mail on James Tedesco.

"The drums are beating very strongly [that] this time next week I think you'll find James Tedesco will re-sign with the Wests Tigers," said The Mole, on Triple M's Rush Hour.

It's believed it's been timed to coincide with the Wests Tigers first big home game at Leichhardt Oval in Round 5.

The Roosters and Bulldogs were interested and there were real fears that Tedesco could be lost for the Tigers. Listen to the full audio below.

James Tedesco has been in the papers, being linked with other clubs.

Peter Sterling sat down with the promising Wests Tigers fullback and asked him about what was happening with his contract negotiations and being linked to other clubs.

“I haven’t talked to any clubs or had any direct offering or talks with clubs or coaches," said Tedesco, Sterlo's Playmaker Series on Fox Sports. Watch the video above.

You can see the full interview on Thursday at 7.30pm EDT on Fox Sports 1HD & 1. Other guests on the show include Dragons star recruit Gareth Widdop and Greg Bird.

Here is some news on James Tedesco and it's not good if you're a Wests Tigers fan.

Triple M NRL's Brent Read says the speedy Wests Tigers fullback could be headed to the Roosters.

“James Tedesco may be heading to the Sydney Roosters," said Read, on Triple M's Rush Hour.

"It’s at a very early stage at the moment, it’s not over the line, but Tedesco came out today and said he’s weighing up his future, he’s not certain where it will be."

More to come.

Earlier, Tedesco told Fox Sports news he was weighing up his options with manager Sam Ayoub, seeing what else is out there.

“I’m not sure at the moment. I haven’t really discussed much at the moment, I’m leaving it with Sammy Ayoub, my manager, and he’s taking care of things at the moment,” Tedesco said.

“I’m a Wests junior so I grew up through the Wests ranks - SG Ball and Harold Matthews Cup - and Wests Tigers as a club.

“I’d definitely love to stay here, I’ve got a lot of good mates at the club, so we’ll just have to wait to see how the contract negotiations go."

It's believed Tedsco is also a target for the Bulldogs who are looking for a fullback to replace Ben Barba.

Tedesco leaving would obviously be a massive blow for the Wests Tigers, particularly with his form of late, having recovered from a knee reconstruction.

Tigers captain Robbie Farah would love Tedesco to stay at the club.

“But look, he’s a local junior, he’s a player we want to keep, and I know the club will be doing everything they can to keep him," he said.
