Reports Sharks star Andrew Fifita was involved in a road rage incident on Sunday afternoon, having allegedly punched and kicked a car on Taren Point Road in Miranda.
"Both vehicles stopped on Taren Point Road. The 25-year-old allegedly made threats and punched and kicked the vehicle causing some damage to it," said Acting Inspector Stuart.
The alleged victim reported the incident to Police and Fifita gave a statement.
There was no arrest made but police are considering charges.
"The matter is still under investigation," he said.
Meanwhile, Cronulla are aware of an incident involving Andrew Fifita. No Charges have been laid, police investigations are continuing and the NRL have been informed. Read the full statement below.

Police Holding Statement
Police have spoken to a man following road rage incident at taren point yesterday.
The incident happened 2:30pm, Sunday.
Suburu sedan driven by 23 yo man, was travelling south captain cook bridge. Police have been told the 25yo male driver of a Jeep travelling directly in front, threw an object at the Suburu.
Both vehicles stopped at Taren Point (on taren point road) - 25yo allegedly made threats towards younger man, before punching & kicking suburu causing damage.
23yo reported it to Miranda Police.
Then at 6pm the 25 yo was questioned about the incident, and released pending further investigations.
Sharks Official Statement
The Club are aware of an incident last night involving Andrew Fifita.
No Charges have been laid and police investigations are continuing.
The NRL have been informed.
No further comment will be made at this stage.
