Rugby league star Semi Radradra faces having a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to show up at court for a domestic violence hearing.
The 24-year-old was due to face the Parramatta Local Court on Monday but his lawyer told the magistrate Radradra flew to Fiji last week because his father was ill.
Magistrate Greg Grogin said the medical certificate provided, which said the winger's father suffers asthma and pulmonary tuberculosis, was not satisfactory and that a warrant would be issued unless a more compelling reason was given by November 30.
