The Cowboys' centre made the hilarious admission after he admitted he was most likely the only 'cleanskin' amongst the NRL All Stars team.
"These Kiwis, if they get another tattoo, they'll have to put it in their pocket," he said.
In contrast Tate said he couldn't commit to something long term like sporting ink.
Tate was speaking ahead of his debut as an NRL All Star at Skilled Park on the Gold Coast this weekend.
"I couldn't wait to get into camp and get away from pre-season."
The debutant admitted he's pretty excited about the the first game of the season.
"The hardest thing for us, it's such a high intensity game, the first game of the year and we've got to get our heads around it," he told The Grillers.
"Everyone's got their personal pride that they want to do well, and the All Stars is no different."
