Greg Inglis has finally put pen to paper and signed with the Rabbitohs.
The recent drama appears to have come to an end with Inglis signing a three year deal with South Sydney.
Many Rabbitohs fans have jumped to social networking sites proclaiming 2011 to be the year of the rabbit.
Despite his three month old handshake deal with the Broncos, Inglis said he was looking forward to pulling on the red and green jersey.
"I’m really happy to be joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs," Inglis said.
"The past few months have been like a rollercoaster ride but now I can look forward to getting back into training and preparing for the new season."
Mundine, who was one of the key movers in getting Inglis to the Souths took to his Twitter soon after.
"Congrats to my boy G.I for signing with the Bunnies and good luck for the season."
Can the Bunnies make a top 4 place next season?

If this guy had of come to Penrith I'd be supporting a different team.
Not to worry, this guy is a selfish blue who turned maroon, the same colour of his girlfriend's eyes after he was finished.
Gets off but won't pay the bill. compassionate grounds to move to Brisbane but goes to redfern. Piss off to French Rugby or AFL.
I have a new team to hate, a pity like most i've always had a soft spot for Souths.

Souths can make a final four spot for sure. They most likely would have made a four spot this year except for an extraordinary amount of injuries.
I think most sides can conceivably make the finals it depends on many factors.
The beauty of this is the NRL has become so competitive, clubs have to be right on all aspects of running a club to be in with a chance, that includes the psychology of the club and its players. Clubs have to have a winning and positive approach to all aspects of the club, that includes the way they behave towards staff and players and attract good sponsorship and have high number of members and quality facilities and treat their players with respect build a family unit and build a team environment.
I think what Souths have done has been nothing short of brilliant. They have given the players and staff and supporters a self respect and belief and have been very honest and open in their dealings. Ultimately this will reflect on the paddock.
As for the previous comment here. Not very loyal to Penrith and so full of hatred towards Inglis and Souths. Build a bridge mate.
May the best team win.
