Queensland's 18-10 victory was overshadowed by a couple of controversial decisions.

In the 22nd NSW Michael Jennings was sin-binned after what has been labelled a "superman punch" during the epic Origin fight.

Bill Harrigan told Triple M Sydney he defended the refs decision to bin Jennings who went on to redeem himself with a try early on in the second half when he returned.

Referee boss Harrigan was also asked to comment on the Greg Inglis try which was awarded after the TMO deemed it worthy despite replays showing the ball had been knocked-on by the Maroon playmaker.
