Dangerous operation charges, Bungalow: A man was charged after police were called to a traffic crash on Mulgrave Road, Bungalow on Friday where a ute crashed into a local business.

He appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court on December 24 and was remanded in custody with his next court appearance scheduled for February 6.

Serious assault charges, Mossman: A 22-year-old Mareeba man was charged with a string of serious assault charges following an incident on Boxing Day at Mossman.

It is alleged the man made threats towards people known to him at their home on William Street around 10.30pm before they managed to lock him outside. He appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court on December 27 and was remanded in custody with his next court appearance scheduled for January 16.

Property charges, Cairns: Drug squad detectives have charged a 28-year-old Koah man after he was located in an alleged stolen vehicle at Brinsmead on Sunday.

It is alleged police found the man in a stolen car on Brinsmead Terrace around 11am along with cannabis and other property linked to offences over the past week. The man appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court on December 24 and was remanded in custody with his next court appearance scheduled for February 6.

Boxing Day public nuisance fight, Manunda: Police were called to break up a dispute between neighbours at a unit complex at Manunda on Boxing Day.

Officers were called to the property on Fearnley Street at about 3pm on Monday after reports residents were playing loud music and making threats towards each other. Two men aged 40 and 29 and a woman aged 28 were all charged with one count each of public nuisance and are scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on January 12.
