Psst.. we’ve tractor-ed down the best event to hit the region next month.
Bendigo’s premiere agricultural event is returning by popular demand for three days only next month. That’s right, Elmore Field Days, an event tailored to not only machinery lovers but the whole family, is preparing for its biggest year yet.
A staggering 700+ exhibitors will act as your one-stop farming shop displaying products and demonstrating expertise in every field from tools and hardware to pools, machinery plants, steel years, cattle crushes and more. And once you’ve taken care of business, there’s plenty more to keep everyone occupied.
Adults will delight in stepping back in time to learn heritage farming techniques, brush up on their snake bite management skills, veg out at the vintage tractor parade, develop some new cooking and DIY skills with live demonstrations, and cheer on local amateur fashionistas as they show off their farm material fashion creations at the Ag Art Wear parade.
But don’t for one second think that the kiddies have been forgotten about. Oh no, they’ll be well and truly entertained with jumping castles, camel rides, balloon twisting, craft activities, face painting, sheep shearing and story time performances.
On top of all of this there’s a vast and delicious range of food and drink vendors to satisfy all of your cravings as well as loads of local music talent on display giving you the chance to stop and catch your breath before continuing on with the fun and activities.
At only $20 for adults and $10 for kids (with under 12s free of charge), you don’t want to miss a moment of the action. It’s bound to be a-maize-ing!
Elmore Field Days is held at the Elmore Events Centre 8.30am-5pm from the 2nd-4th of October. Tickets are available at the gate.
