Aerosmith have announced they will be celebrating 50 years as a band by doing a Las Vegas residency.
The iconic rock band’s lead guitarist Joe Perry revealed the news on Fab Fourum last night with the official announcement expected 15th August.
In the interview Perry said;
“We’re going to be doing a residency in Vegas starting next spring. What we’re talking about is having an experience that you wouldn’t be able to see on a regular Aerosmith tour”.
With the band officially forming in 1970, we’re expecting this residency to cover the 12 months leading up to the anniversary.
We're expecting the band to return to the live music venue The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel, Las Vegas where they recorded the live album Rockin' The Joint in 2002.

It’s been 5 years since Aerosmith toured Australia and with these huge show commitments in USA it seems we need to head over there if we want to see them live.
