Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley have kissed and made up announcing they’ll be touring down under together later this year.

Simmons will be touring Australia for the first time as a solo artist August 2018 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his solo debut.

Original lead guitarist, Ace Frehley will be joining Simmons as support on the tour.

Frehley, who was in the original lineup of KISS left the band in 1982 but reunited with KISS in 96, only to leave again in 2000 when things got messy.

The shock announcement was made on Simmons official Facebook overnight, with fans stoked the two have kissed and made up after their 16 years of not working together.

Having sold more than 100 million albums worldwide with KISS, Gene Simmons has written and performed some of the most well known anthems in the history of music.

Simmons will be performing solo tracks and original KISS hits with fans suspecting the two will reunite on stage again.

Gene Simmons & Ace Frehley tour Australia 28th August - 1st September.
