Jimmy Barnes has slammed politician Josh Frydenberg on his twitter this morning.

The response came after environment minister, Frydenberg presented the government’s new energy policy in Port Kembla saying:

“More than 30 years ago Jimmy Barnes came to Port Kembla to make the film clip for Working Class Man. Today the prime minister has come to Port Kembla to create jobs for Australia’s working class men and women.”

It seems Barnesy wasn’t too impressed by this name drop and took to his official twitter to respond, stating;

“Don’t use my name or my songs to sell your shitty policies”.

It seems Prime Minister Turnbull’s team are trying to backpedal and show their knowledge of Aussie rock, after last week the PM couldn’t name an AC/DC song.
