Great news for Ed Sheeran fans today with Frontier Touring confirming that 15,000 extra tickets will be released for Ed's Friday 2 March 2018 concert at Perth Stadium.

Tickets across all price types will be released to allow more fans to attend Ed's concert.

The show's original ticket allocation was capped at 40,000 tickets as organisers were unsure as to whether the Swan River Pedestrian Bridge construction would be complete. And while it looks as though the bridge still won't be ready until mid-March, the State Government has come up with a one-off public transport plan that will allow more fans to attend the concert.

“We’re very appreciative that the WA Government are able to confirm the increase in capacity for Ed Sheeran’s Friday 2nd March Perth Stadium concert.   As the very first outdoor stadium show of Ed’s worldwide tour, it’s going to be a special one, and we’re thrilled that he will be able to play to the full capacity that this fantastic new Perth venue can provide,” Frontier Touring's Michael Gudinski said.

Fans attending the concert will need to allow extra time to get to the venue, and can expect public transport delays of up to 90 minutes after the show. CBD commuters should also be aware that services may be busier than usual.

Pre-sale tickets will be available via frontiertouring.com/edsheeran from Thursday 7 September 3pm WA time.

General on-sale tickets will be available from Monday 11 September 1pm WA time.
