Powderfinger Apologise To Drummer In Most Aussie Way

This weekend's shock Powderfinger reunion at Splendour In The Grass made headlines this week for the wrong reasons when it was revealed that the bands drummer wasn’t invited to the reunion.

The band, who haven’t played together in 7 years apologised to drummer, Jon Coghill in the most Aussie way, by fixing his car!

Frontman Bernard Fanning posted a photo of the entire band together around Cogs’ car on his official Instagram this morning saying;

“We’re sorry we didn’t tell Cogs we were playing at Splendour. It was so dumb he made us fix his Rolls Roy…um..e…’99 Ford Telstar”.

This is the first time the band have been back to together publicly since their HUGE farewell tour that sold out around the country.

Although Fanning is adamant there is no Powderfinger reunion on the cards, especially with the use of the hashtags #noreunion #notour #noshow it’s great to see the band are back together on a friend level.
