Appearing on the popular American news program, CBS News Sunday Morning the Foo Fighters delved into their beginnings and life after Nirvana and look forward to Cal Jam 2018.
The iconic TV show claimed the Foo Fighters own festival Cal Jam resurrected rock music following the huge success of the debut festival last year. Coming back for round two October this year, the festival see’s two days of live music, from rock icons Iggy Pop and Billy Idol to new kids on the rock block, our very own Gang Of Youths (see the full lineup here).
The interview also took Grohl back to Nirvana days and dealing with the success so young, with Grohl admitting his fear for new musicians and touches on the heartbreaking that drummer Taylor Hawkins was left in a coma for 2 weeks as a result of drug abuse.
No rock is unturned and the band open up more than ever before.
Cal Jam is held in San Bernardino, California 5th and 6th October.
