American rock band 30 Seconds To Mars joined the UK's BBC Radio 1 for a live performance, paying their respects to recently passed Rock 'n Roll icons.

The Jared Leto-led band performed a medley including hits from David Bowie, Prince, Soundgarden, George Michael and Linkin Park.

The tribute, which features Bowie's 'Heroes', Prince's 'Purple Rain', Michael's 'Freedom', Soundgarden's 'Black Hole Sun' and Linking Park's 'Crawling', was performed with the help of a backing choir and was titled, 'A Tribute To The Stars'.
