Sambora and Such joined Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Tico Torres and Hugh McDonald to play some crowd favourites like You Give Love A Bad Name and It’s My Life.

Bon Jovi were inducted by Howard Stern, who is a huge fan of the band.

They were among just some of the legends inducted overnight, with The Cars, Nina Simone, The Moody Blues, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Dire Straits also in the 2018 class.

Legendary Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler didn’t turn up to the event because he didn’t want to.

"He just didn't feel like coming, it's as simple as that," Dire Straits bassist John Illsley said, in an interview with Billboard.

“It just didn't appeal to him, and I appealed to him on several occasions."
