Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is the latest subject of James Corden’s iconic Carpool Karaoke series, and it’s must watch stuff.
Corden and Sir Paul went to Liverpool for the emotional ride around, with The Late Late Show host tearing up as Sir Paul told a story behind Let It Be.
Sir Paul said he wrote the song after a dream about his mother, who died when he was 14.
They also visited the Penny Lane barbershop that Sir Paul immortalised in the song of the same name, his childhood home and a pub where he performed with John Lennon.
The episode ends with Sir Paul doing a surprise gig at the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, busting out some of the Beatles’ most iconic hits.
