Marking two years since the horrific Paris terror attacks, American rock band Eagles Of Death Metal performed a surprise memorial show.

The show saw band members Jesse Hughes and Dave Catching return to Paris to be with fellow victims on this significant date at the event organised by survivors of the attack.

Talking to reporters at the event, frontman Jesse Hughes said;

“It is difficult to not to remember the people who were taken from us like our friend Nick Alexander and so many others.
“We watched people give their lives for their friends and we were able to bear witness to that, and now we have a burden of responsibility to make certain that everyone knows that kind of love exists in this world.”

The attacks occurred during the Eagles Of Death Metal show that claimed the lives of 89 innocent music fans.

Earlier this year Colin Hanks released a documentary about the attacks, Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends).
