“It’s more than get on with the tour, but with everything we have to do”- Lindsey Buckingham said when long time member and musical partner Christine McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac, which then inspired this new project.

Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham have made the first album as a duo, simply titled Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie.

Does this new band sound familiar, Buckingham say’s their aim was to “be a departure but also sound familiar” which is how John McVie and Mick Fleetwood joined the band, Buckingham stating; “they’re the best rhythm section in the world right?”

If there was ever a question as to if this album was a good move, the vibes were great from first stepping into the studio, unlike the old Fleetwood Mac days of drama and heartache, the making of this debut from Buckingham and McVie just flowed well.

It’s not a far departure from the classic Mac days, the song Merry Go Round is about McVie reuniting with "The Mac" after she moved back to England to escape that rock star world.
