Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldbum has signed a record deal and will be releasing his debut album later this year.

At the ripe age of 65, the loveable actor has signed a deal with Decca Records.

Busy with the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, out June 21 nothing is due to be released until later this year.

Although he’s known for his acting, Goldblum has played piano since he was a child and performed with Gregory Porter on The Graham Norton show last year.

Billboard.com announced the news today, quoting Goldblum as saying;

"I'm so happy to be in cahoots with the wonderful people at Decca, one of the coolest and most prestigious labels of all time”.



We’re not expecting a rock album, but by the cult following Goldblum has gained recently we’re expecting it’ll be a success.

Jurassic World: Fall Kingdom is out 21 June.
