Jimmy Barnes has announced he will be doing a 30-date national tour to accompany his new memoir Working Class Man.

The new book is a follow up to Working Class Boy, a memoir about his childhood, and the accompanying tour will involve Barnesy telling his life and singing versions of his songs that chronicle his life.

The live show and book will cover Jimmy’s adult life, after Working Class Boy depicted his childhood.

“In book one I faced the damage that a broken home and a broken heart can bring,” Barnes said in a statement.

“In book two I face the impact that a childhood like mine can have on a man.”

Tickets to the shows go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday 23rd October, but Frontier and Jimmy Barnes Fan Club members can purchase them from 2pm on Thursday 19th October.

Venue pre-sales begin at 2pm on Friday 20th October.
