The HUGE Midnight Oil The Great Circle 2017 Australian Tour just got bigger with Midnight Oil announcing yet another gig to the already massive national tour.

“One For The Oceans” the benefit concert will be held on Sunday 29th October at the outdoor, coastal setting of the Fremantle Arts Centre. It happens just a few days after an October 24 National Press Club address in Canberra by frontman, Peter Garrett entitled “Trashing our crown jewel: The fate of the Great Barrier Reef in the coal age.” 

Midnight Oil will perform their iconic album “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1” in its entirety for the first time ever in this country along with an hour of other Oils classics at the picturesque gig.

Every cent of profit will go to various charities that work in the areas of reef protection and climate change including AMCS.org.au

City of Fremantle Mayor Brad Pettitt said:

“Midnight Oil’s decision to play a unique concert right here at WA’s favourite Arts Centre is further evidence that Fremantle truly is WA’s event capital. The cause is one that’s very important to Fremantle so we’re thrilled to support it. This will be a gig to remember.”



This gig is announced just a week after the Oils performed at Cairns’ Tanks Arts Centre to raise awareness of the Great Barrier Reef and ocean degradation.
