This morning the final round of presenters were announced for the Australian music industry’s biggest night the ARIA Awards 2017, and we’re stoked to announce our very own, Jane Gazzo will be joining the line up, presenting the best rock album.

The ARIA Awards, will be held Tuesday 28th November from 7.30pm (aest) and joining Jane on the impressive roster of presenters is; INXS, Jimmy Barnes and Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood.

The announcement comes of no surprise to us, with Jane being the host of Triple M’s Home Grown, the home of Australian music, Jane’s passion for new Australian rock music, sitting Jane deservingly in the line up of rock legends presenting.

Talking to Jane on the opportunity, she says;

"What a great year for Aussie rock! As Triple M's Home Grown presenter, there has been an extraordinary amount of good stuff hitting our inbox and our airwaves.. I've been particularly impressed with the output of rock from Brisbane these past few months: Caligula's Horse, Waax, Dune Rats...
As far as the ARIA's, the 'Best Rock Album' is a tough call.. The Preatures have had a brilliant year (with lead singer Isabella even performing with a reunited Divinyls for a one-off gig in Perth a few months ago read more here)
Gang of Youths, quite rightly, have now hit stratospheric heights with 'Go farther Into Lightness', whilst Polish Club have been one of the most exciting groups of 2017 - with killer singles and live shows.
Speaking of Killer - I've really enjoyed Dan Sultan's record this year - he really set out to make an album unlike anything he's released in the past and he succeeded. The songs on his Killer record are just amazing.
And the Dune Rats have really worn their Aussie influences on their sleeves with their album 'The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit' - I love that they take their cues from heritage legends the Cosmic Psychos and Painters & Dockers and write about real homegrown topics.
The ARIA's are a great celebration of music past and present. It's always a fun night with surprises, controversy (sometimes) and a whole lotta love and pats on back for our artists and our industry".
