Kurt Cobain Didn’t Respond To Nirvana Reunion Invitation

Nirvana bass player Krist Novoselic has taken to Twitter to clear up concerns around the Nirvana reunion in Seattle this weekend.

Krist joined fellow Nirvana band members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear on stage during the Foo Fighters set to perform Nirvana’s cover of The Vaselines’ Molly Lips.

The reunion was missing one key factor, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Thankfully Krist cleared the air stating “We tried to get a hold of him for this gig- as many times as we tried to contact Kurt, we couldn’t get through”.

It seemed Dave Grohl gave it too much as he’s now lost his voice, forcing him to cancel the Foo Fighters current tour dates as his Mum Virginia discussed on Kennedy Molloy yesterday.
