There were plenty of brilliant tributes to Chester Bennington yesterday, and this was definitely one of the very best.

During Linkin Park's memorial concert on Friday night American time at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the band went on stage to perform In The End.

Mike Shinoda was able to complete his part of the song, but he needed a little help...so the crowd filled in with Chester's bit.

"And you guys know what part to sing, right?" Shinoda told the crowd.

They certainly did - and it's chilling.

The crowd did the same earlier in the night to pay tribute to Bennington, belting out their version of Numb.

The backing music came on, with an empty microphone illuminated on the stage - so the crowd again did the rest.
