Bad news Metallica fans, the fellas don’t appear to be visiting Australia until the second half of 2018 at least.

The legendary heavy metal band have released a whole bunch of new dates for their WorldWired Tour in support of their 10th studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.

The tour has been extended to May 2018 but at this stage there are no Australian dates.

Metallica are currently in South America and they have 64 gigs scheduled for North America and Europe.

However, as it stands, there is a three-month gap in the tour between November and February, so fingers crossed a few Aussie dates get shoehorned in there!
