Following the shocking news that Midnight Oil’s guitarist Jim Moginie pulled a hammy on stage during Wednesday night’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl gig the future of the band’s The Great Circle Tour was up in the air.

The “season ending” injury saw the legendary guitarist fall to his knees during the hit song King Of The Mountain, yet he continued playing until the end of the song.

The Oils announced yesterday the show must go on and the band will continue their SOLD OUT The Great Circle Tour that see’s the band play The Domain, Sydney this Saturday 11th November.

There is no mention of the other three dates of the mammoth world tour in Wollongong, Melbourne and Sydney.
