Neil Finn Invites Fans To Be Involved With New Album

After weeks of teasing on his social media, Neil Finn has announced some HUGE news.

The much loved Crowded House singer has announced he will be joined by friends and family to write, record and perform his BRAND NEW album, Out Of Silence.

Every Friday in August, Finn will be joined by the world’s most talented musicians to write and jam parts of the album that will be recorded live and streamed online.

This is a first for Finn and this is a HUGE opportunity for music fans to be a fly on the wall for this incredible experience.

Neil Finn has been experimenting with live streaming performances since 2003. It’s a platform that suits his spontaneous and intimate style of performance.  

On the unusual approach Finn says;

“Every Friday in August at 7pm NZT / 5pm AEST, I will be performing on a live stream from my studio in Auckland. During these Friday sessions you will be witness to a series of musical happenings featuring friends, family, fellow songwriters and singers playing tunes both old and brand new.  You can follow the progress of new song arrangements as we build towards the last stream on August 25. This final performance will be the actual recording of my new solo album. "

Out Of Silence will be the first release from Finn since 2014's Dizzy Heights.
