New Photos Emerge From Nirvana’s Nevermind Shoot

To coincide with the 25th anniversary of the top selling Nirvana record, Nevermind the photographer behind camera has released never before seen photos of the band.

Photographer Kirk Weddle a specialist in underwater photography remembers the day of the shoot well, reminiscing the early morning shoot with the band, frontman Kurt Cobain less than happy with the creative direction for the infamous album cover;

“Fuck! I have to get in the pool?”

Although initially not to impressed with the idea of the shoot, the photos show a happy, fun side of the band, just months before they took over the music world.
