Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger Hangs Shit On Corey Taylor And Nickelback

This is a fight we’d pay to see, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger versus Stone Sour and Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor and it seems closer to reality after Kroeger has just started war on Taylor and his own band for some reason.

In a very bizarre interview with Metal Covenant, Kroeger was not only hanging shit on the hard rock singer, but his own bands songwriting process referring to his own band as “a bunch of idiots” and referring to their song writing process as “silly”.

Then, the beer drinking Kroeger gets to Corey Taylor when the interviewer compares Stone Sour’s diversity to Nickelback, Kroeger responds; “Yeah because they’re trying to be Nickelback” before chugging down his beer.

This comment is an obvious stab at Taylor as the Nickelback singer follows up saying; “Corey Taylor’s said some really nasty things about me before in the press and he talks about how easy it is to write a hit song, well show me, I’m yet to hear one, they sound like Nickelback Lite”.

Referring to Taylor’s other band, Slipknot a very cocky looking Kroger states; “They had to put on masks and jump around. If you have to beat each other up every night, throw up in your own masks, music shouldn’t come with a gimmick, music should be music. He (Corey Taylor) wanted people to know what he looked like so he started Stone Sour”.
