The current Pink Floyd exhibition at Victor & Albert, London is set to out sell the 2013 David Bowie exhibition.

The exhibition that opened in May has been extended by two weeks until 15th October due to popular demand.

As reported by The Guardian, the exhibition that has already sold 300,00 tickets is expected to exceed David Bowie’s exhibition that sold 311,000 tickets in 2013.

The V&A curator Victoria Broackes thanks the bands personal involvement in the exhibition for it’s success saying;

“The fusion of music, theatre, design and performance which the band excelled at throughout their entire career makes them ideal for an exhibition at the V&A.”

Highlights from the exhibition include rare tour posters, mechanic and props from their impressive stage shows and original album art works.

We’re Pink Floyd crazy with Triple M Sydney and Triple M Melbourne playing the bands classic album, Dark Side Of The Moon in it’s entirety from 12pm (AEST) today and the announcement of Roger Water’s Australian tour.
