Radiohead’s headlining set at Coachella in California has been marred by technical difficulties.

The English alternative rockers got three songs into their show when they were hit with a series of issues, including the sound completing dropping out and bursts of feedback.

The issues affected the stage speakers and the live stream audio.

The sound dropped out during Ful Stop and 15 Step, with the second drop out affecting most of the song.

"Fuckin’ aliens again," Thom Yorke said to the crowd.

The band stopped their set briefly, then came back out for a few songs before the audio dropped out again.

They left the stage after playing Let Down, and came out again after a few minutes.

“Can you actually hear me now?” Thom Yorke asked the crowd.

“I’d love to tell you a joke, lighten the mood, something like that. But this is Radiohead.”
