Australian television in the '70s was filled with music.

From Soundcheck, to Thank God it’s Friday at the Zoo and Nightmoves- hosted by our very own Lee Simon, live music was in our living rooms week in, week out.

Premiering tonight at the St Kilda Film Festival ‘Right There On My TV’ explores and showcases the Australian music television shows with never before seen footage from the archives being played.

A time where television was the way to hear new music and what's next in music trends, music lovers across the country would tune in religiously.

Need a refresh? Let's go back to when Lee Simon had Blondie on Nightmoves in 1978.
