NME has reported Liam Gallagher will be working with the Foo Fighters and 90s fans are losing it after HUGE call made by Taylor Hawkins.
The Fooies make it no secret they love Oasis and now the band will be working with Liam Gallagher.
The news has Hawkins stoked, the Fooies drummer and sometimes singer such a fan of Gallagher, he's compared him to Queen's Freddie Mercury, telling NME:
“That guy is such a f*cking good rock good singer. When people talk about Freddie Mercury, they’re like ‘Oh my god, he’s so outrageous’ – a lot of people just skip past the actual thing of what it is that made them great. I watched that Oasis documentary the other day, and there’s this part were he just sings ‘Champagne Supernova’ in one take in its entirety, and you just go ‘oh f*ck’, you know, the reason we all liked him in the first place is because he’s a f*cking good singer. He can f*cking sing a rock ‘n’ roll song dude.”

The band even performed live with Gallagher at their own music festival CalJam ’17 last year.

Talking to NME this week, Gallagher confirms he will be working with Foo Fighters saying:
“They wanted to do one tune, but I dunno – I’ll do it one day, but I’m too busy doing this at the moment. But I do like them – I think Foo Fighters have got good tunes. I think Dave Grohl’s very talented, and so is the band.”
We’re looking forward to this huge collaboration.
