Kyle Gass and Jack Black, better known as Tenacious D, have announced that an album is ‘probably’ coming this year.
The new album is a follow up to 2012’s Rise of the Fenix.
A tour has been confirmed, announced through a lo-fi cartoon that you can watch below.
Jack Black has already mentioned there’s set to be a sequel to their 2006 film The Pick of Destiny coming, which is expected to be out in October.
You can check out more details here.
Musicians to have played in the past with Tenacious D include Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and John Konesky and the band has also featured in film clips like Eagles of Death Metal’s I Want You So Hard (Boy’s Bad News).
Yesterday, we announced that Tenacious D will be featuring at Foo Fighters’ festival CalJam.
